National Medical Award - a national award, which joins professional competitions and registries conducted with the aim to identify the best medical employees, educators, media representatives, sponsors and philanthropists who contribute to health of Ukrainian people and development of health care.
Main tasks: to raise the social status of the medical officer and prestige of the medical profession in society, to raise the patients awareness and educate the appropriate level of health services consumption culture, to promote care about own health preservation, to identify the best juridical persons and individuals who significantly contribute to national health care system development and health of Ukrainian people.
National Medical Award is supported by: the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Security Service, Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ministry of Transport and Communication, specialized medical organizations, specialized and community media, and other partners of different sectoral specialization.
